Best Movies of 2009
My wife and I watch A LOT of movies. Probably 3-4 a week (and lose a lot of sleep for it). These are, in my opinion, the best that I saw. There are still a couple I need to see that came out in December, but I’ve mostly seen everything else.
UP – Such a beautiful human story. I can’t remember the last time I was brought to tears by a pixar movie…umm never.
Star Trek – Oh yes, it was awesome. Only J.J. could bring cool back to Star Trek and he did with style. GO SEE IT!
Watchmen – This one was a surprise. I had pretty low expectations but I was hooked the whole way through.

Adventureland – A cool throw back to some great 80’s movies.

Away We Go -

Funny People – I actually didn’t like this one too much the first time I saw it. After sitting on it a while and seeing it again I really enjoyed it.

Inglorious B@sterds – This has to be one of the best Tarantino movies. I really like Kill Bill but this one was even better than that.

It Might Get Loud – If you listen to music, go see this.

The Hangover – hahahahahaha (oh, and I know a lot of people who didn’t see this movie because they thought it was a “raunchy vegas comedy”, it’s really not. It IS an adult comedy, but it’s not that)

in a band? own a business?
Now that wedding season is over, I’m looking to develop relationships with people in a couple different areas.
First…Businesses. If you, or someone you know, owns or runs a small business I would love to get in touch with you. I’m working on creating marketing campaign in this area and need a couple more test clients.
Second…If you’re in a band, or a recording musician, I’d love to set up a shoot for your press kit.

gingerbread house
My wife told me I can’t tell our daughter that this thing is edible. The obvious question is what happens when she catches me eating it or starts noticing things are missing?
December 16, 2009 - 2:43 pm - It looks so good!! I haven't made one of those in forever!
my girls
You wouldn’t believe how long it took to get that shot of Novalie.
*as an update to my “one picture a day” challenge, I’m no longer doing to put day _ in the title, but I’ll still be posting at least one a day.
Carlo! Carlo!
David Perron’s goal and then this goal are by far and away the two biggest goals of the season. This one means a lot more as a team, it was incredible. Let’s hope this game equates to the Boston “turnaround” game of last year.
