I guess this is where I'm supposed to talk about how much I love photography, or the awards I may have won.  I think you may already know that I love what I do, and I hope my images speak to you themselves.  What I would rather tell you what's important to me, and that is my clients.   One of the greatest enjoyments I get out of my business is showing one of my couples their wedding images for the first time.  Watching them laugh, smile, cry.  That's what it's all about, and that's why I love what I do.

church in the park

Thankfully the weather held off this morning so our church could have our service outdoors this morning.  Everyone had a great time, especially all the kids and the BBQ was a-m-a-z-i-n-g.

a bride and her father

One of my favorite things to photograph is the bride and her father right before he walks her down the isle.  There’s such a huge range of emotions to capture.  At yesterdays wedding, they were waiting in a room where there was tons of light coming in from behind them which can make things tough to photograph.  I decided to do try and work with the light as it was and am glad I got this image.  Without even seeing the details in their faces, or their expressions, it says everything that was going on between them.

We were supposed to be in Forest Park yesterday but we got moved due to all of the marathon events and ended up in Tower Grove Park. Sierra and Eric own Kangaroo Kids really cool children’s and maternity resale shop where my wife meets other mom’s every Thursday. The kids did so good putting up with having their picture taken. Here’s a few I wanted to share…

April 11, 2010 - 5:50 pm Sierra - wow! i am so excited to see the rest! thank you! they are amazing!
