I guess this is where I'm supposed to talk about how much I love photography, or the awards I may have won.  I think you may already know that I love what I do, and I hope my images speak to you themselves.  What I would rather tell you what's important to me, and that is my clients.   One of the greatest enjoyments I get out of my business is showing one of my couples their wedding images for the first time.  Watching them laugh, smile, cry.  That's what it's all about, and that's why I love what I do.

vendor list —>

I thought I would expand a bit on my new vendor list to the right of my blog to have something to reference to and give you guys a bit more specific information. First off, let me answer the most popular question I get. No, none of these vendors requested to be put on my site, give me anything, or did anything to be put on my site. I’ve worked with a lot of wedding vendors over the last 4-5 years. There are a lot of good ones out there, but these are the great ones.

* Band – Boogie Chyld

These guys are amazing. They blow every other wedding band I’ve ever worked with out of the water. They really know how to keep the party going while still appealing to all age groups. The last wedding I did with them they were doing everything from the black eyed peas to jimi hendrix.

* DJ – Jim Hussey

Jim is an extremely classy guy. I’ve worked with him a lot. He knows weddings inside and out, unlike some of the kids you get with the big DJ companies.

* Planner – Proposing Dreams

Sabrina, the owner, has a ton of great girls working for her. Everytime I’ve worked with them their main goal is make sure every problem is fixed so you don’t even have to hear about it.

* Florist – Bloomin Buckets

Another one I can’t say enough about. Barb(the owner) is the only florist I’ve seen so far who ends up befriending all her clients because they fall in love with her. She truly loves what she does and it shows.

* Venue – Sqwires Annex

Probably my favorite St. Louis venue. It’s not the largest, but has a lot of personality. Exposed brick, high ceilings, loft area, great staff….it all works out. I have done weddings here, but it is mostly a reception venue.

* Venue – Lucas School House

I’ve only worked here twice now since this is a fairly new venue, but wow does it have character. This one accommodates weddings and receptions really well since it has an outdoor area and two levels you can use.

* Cakes – Terri Bohling 636-391-5853

I almost hesitated in recommending this lady for one, she makes all the cakes for out family I don’t want her to get too busy, and two, her cakes almost steal the show at receptions. Her designs are very classy, but what really makes her cakes different is that they taste good, really good. Something of a rarity in the wedding cake world believe it or not.

March 29, 2008 - 8:54 pm Julie Seward - Terry Bohling has developed a title in our circle, "Cake Lady". Her cakes are known to most as Cake Lady Cakes. And they are fan-freakin-tastic.
